Day 1 :

Dehradun to Gangotri (3,415M) - 245 km

Begin the journey with an early departure from Dehradun to Gangotri, covering approximately 245 kilometers in 8-9 hours. The scenic drive passes through picturesque mountain roads. Arrive by evening, check into your accommodation, and prepare for the trek ahead.

Day 2 :

Gangotri (3,415M) to Bhojwasa (3,775M) - 14 km

Start trekking from Gangotri towards Bhojwasa after breakfast. The moderate trek follows the Bhagirathi River through lush pine forests and rugged terrain. Reach Bhojwasa by afternoon and set up camp by the riverside with stunning views of the Bhagirathi range

Day 3 :

Bhojwasa (3,775M) to Tapovan (4,460M) via Gomukh (4,025M) - 14 km

Today’s trek is the most scenic and significant. Trek 14 km to Tapovan via Gomukh, the sacred source of the Ganges. Tapovan, at 4,460 meters, is a vast alpine meadow offering majestic views of Shivling Peak. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and camp overnight at Tapovan.

Day 4 :

Tapovan (4,460M) to Bhojwasa (3,775M) - 14 km

After an overnight stay at Tapovan, begin your return journey, retracing the trail back to Bhojwasa. The descent is easier, allowing you to absorb the mesmerizing views of glaciers and surrounding peaks.

Day 5 :

Bhojwasa (3,775M) to Gangotri (3,415M) - 14 km

Descend 14 km from Bhojwasa to Gangotri. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation and relax after the long trek. Enjoy the peaceful evening in the spiritual town of Gangotr

Day 6 :

Day 6: Gangotri (3,415M) to Dehradun (640M) - 240 km

Early morning departure from Gangotri for Dehradun, covering approximately 240 kilometers in 8-9 hours. Arrive in Dehradun by evening, marking the end of the trek.
